How much of your life
Were you taught to do everything
For everybody else other than YOU
In order to be a good child,
A good husband, a good wife,
A good whatever role you take?
How much of your life
Were you taught to suppress and push away
All of your thoughts, feelings and emotions
Because they were judged
As negative and weak
In order to please all those whom you love?
How much of your life have you spent
Knowing so well their wants and needs
Except for your own?
How much of your life have you spent
Believing that you must suffer
For all those whom you love
For their happiness
In order to earn for their love?
Does any of it feel light for you?
No
Because none of it is true for you
So everything you have done
To please everybody else
By suppressing all of your
Thoughts, feelings and emotions
For their requires and desires
Other than your own
By being kind to everybody else
While abusing and judging you
Thinking and believing that
That is the way to be a good person
That is the way to be good enough
That is the way to earn for their love
Happiness is for them, it ain’t for you,
And how much of all this pile of crap
Is what you bought from
All those who taught and abused you
As real, true and yours when it wasn’t?
A little, a lot or all of it?
Everything that is,
Would you like to uncreate, destroy
And return it all to senders please?
Your thoughts are valid
Your feelings are valid
Your emotions are valid
Always
Anyone dismisses it and
Makes you wrong for it,
They aren’t capable of holding space for you
They aren’t a safe space for you
They aren’t the right people for you
How many times have you made wrong,
Rejected you and beat you up
Because of it?
A trillion times and more?
Everything that is,
Would you like to uncreate and
Destroy it all please?
What if to be happy and moving forward
Is not about sucking up and ignoring
All of your painful thoughts,
Feelings and emotions
Saying they are small or nothing
And just focusing on positive?
That in and of itself is suffering
That in and of itself slows you down
That in and of itself is cutting you off,
Silencing you to be like everybody else
And to be everybody else
Other than YOU
Allow your voice to be heard
Allow your thoughts to be heard
Allow your feelings to be heard
Allow your requires and desires to be heard
Whatever they are
Allow you to be heard
There is nothing wrong with you
For any of them
Keeping going for YOU
Keep choosing YOU
By expressing you to YOU
And therefore those who
Are capable of holding space for you
What if beneath and beyond
All of your uncomfortable
Thoughts, feelings, and emotions
Called pain that you buried,
Pushed away and rejected
That if you would allow you to embrace,
Acknowledge and express
Without making you wrong
For any of them
Is an infinite reservoir of
Your God’s truth and wisdom
Your God’s total awareness and clarity
Your God’s greatness and brilliance
Your God’s magic and miracles
Your God’s victory and glory
Your God’s abundance and freedom
Your God’s infinite possibilities and capabilities
Your God’s infinite joy and fun
Your God’s infinite bliss and ectasy
That are waiting to flow through YOU?
That is choosing your total kindness to you
That is choosing your total trust in you
That is choosing your total receiving of you
That is your magnificent star light
That is waiting to burst open
And shine this entire world and universe
Simply for YOU
That you are born to be
You got this. One step at a time.
